The webinar reports on the mapping project of the MEC@ICSJ team, which is focused on Swedish documentary films, television series/serials, blogs, FB groups, blogs, YT channels, exhibitions and art projects that relate to the environment. We will first focus on a series of general principles for mapping analysis, and then discuss how these have been operationalized in the case of this specific mapping. After discussing a number of examples, we will invite the audience to talk about their favorite examples.

Event report: The webinar Mapping environmental media and art practices reported on the mapping project of the MEC@ICSJ team (team of MISTRA Environmental Communication at the Institute of Communication Studies and Journalism at Charles University). The webinar was led by Nico Carpentier, Vaia Doudaki and Susanne Kass and was focused on Swedish documentary films, television series/serials, blogs, FB groups, blogs, YouTube channels, exhibitions and art projects that relate to the environment. Firstly, the concentration was dedicated to a series of general principles for mapping analysis, when Nico Carpentier and Vaia Doudaki presented their long-term practice over the mapping in a combination with the communication tools and approach. Then, the discussion of how these principles have been operationalized in the case of this specific mapping. After discussing a number of examples, the team invited the audience and listeners to talk about their favourite examples.
